Its been a year of new beginnings. One of which was a new found vocation as a lecturer in Marketing. If you had asked me even a year ago whether I would even entertain being a lecturer/teacher, I probably would have laughed in your face. Not because I lack respect for educators, far from it. I just would never have chosen it for myself. And yet here I am.

Its been almost 12 months and my learning curve has most probably surpassed those of my students. Being on this side of the formal learning process has been very interesting to say the least. Being called "Miss" all the time, still weirds me out. I've even surprised myself that I have managed to last with a full head of hair. My first few months in I could have sworn that I would have pulled my hair out by the 3rd month. But God in all His glorious graciousness has helped me persevere and not only survive with my hair intact (barely lol), but come to appreciate and enjoy this new journey.

It has been intriguing to say the least and I look forward to new adventures in the world of learning and development.
